BanDao is Mandarin Chinese for Peninsula, litterally Half-Island, the same as peninsula in Spanish or halbinsel in German.

Peninsula Engineering Group, Inc. was the first company that Ed Johnson co-founded with Barry Leff. Business travel at Peninsula Engineering and Repeater Technologies took Ed to mainland China nearly forty times, Taiwan over ten times and Hong Kong over fifty times with accumulated time in Greater China of over two years. Ed has gained a deep understanding of the Chinese people in all his travels.

BanDao represents these combined experiences.

BanDao Associates was conceived as a consulting company by Ed Johnson in 2001 to serve the microwave, wireless and venture community. BanDao Associates is a private company incorporated in the State of California.
